thank god for internal monologue

"Well, I don’t believe in dibs, or love at first sight, or love, or best friends, or doing things."

Things I'm posting a lot @tm: Community, The Strokes, misc. television

001. I was born today, seventeen years ago.

True story.

002. I’m left-handed for writing/using utensils, etc.

But I’m right-handed with sports.

003. I’m biracial.

It makes for good laughs when people try to “figure me out.”

004. I have a weakness for awful pop songs.

I DON’T LIKE IT BUT I JUST CAN’T STOP LISTENING.

005. When I laugh around other people, it’s because it’s an automatic response that I’ve learned, not because it’s funny.

It took me a while to catch onto when to laugh when other people are around.  So even when I don’t think something is funny, when others start laughing, I laugh.  Then I think about it and regret it.

005. I draw not for the sake of creating art, but just to get these ideas out of my brain.

006. I was raised as a Catholic, but I’m apatheist/atheist..

007. I’ve only seen one James Bond movie.

008. I think of musical notes and chords in terms of color.

C: blue

D: lavender/purple

E: yellow

F: orange

G: green

A: red

B: periwinkle/indigo (this changes).

But when I’m playing two notes at a time it doesn’t make a mixture of colors.  When I’m playing chords, I think of the color of the chord (e.g. if it’s a D major chord - D, F#, and A- I think of purple).  Also, if it’s an accidental, I think of whatever note it is based on (e.g. F#, I also see as a rusty orange, and A♭ I see as brick red.  Usually, accidentals are darker or more muted versions of the main note).

idk.  Is this just me?

009. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was the first chapter book I read that didn’t have pictures on every few pages.
